February 2025 – USCG Station Sturgeon Bay hosted a captain’s licensing course for their members where 14 Coast Guard members earned their commercial captain’s license. While all the members earned their six-pack license (i.e. OUPV), the majority chose to upgrade their license to a 100 Ton Master with assistance tow endorsement. The class consisted of members from STA Sturgeon Bay and ANT Two Rivers.

Awesome class, Bobby and Bekah were amazing and had answers to all of our questions prior to administering the test and the reviews before hand helped exponentially! Would highly recommend and can’t wait to get my 100 Ton license with towing endorsement!

“The Team at Pathfinder Maritime training were very professional and respectful. They took time to help everyone in the course and in my case to extra one on one time to make sure I understood how to get the answers when plotting. The instructors did a great job reviewing the information and making it an interactive learning experience for the entire class. I highly recommend choosing Pathfinder Maritime Training if you want to be a proficient and knowledgeable captain!”

As part of the course, the student with the highest exam score wins a Rugged Road 45 cooler. Congrats to BM3 Griffin Hewitt on the highest score in the class!
