When we founded Pathfinder Maritime Training (PMT) we made the intentional decision to register as a Public Benefit corporation. As a Public Benefit corporation, PMT is committed to supporting maritime focused non-profits, and we donate a portion of our revenues and resources to these organizations each year. This year, we surveyed our students and asked which non-profit they would like to support. They chose Mercy Ships!
Mercy Ships is a non-profit that operates hospital ships. These ships provide critical, medical care and humanitarian support in developing nations throughout the world, and we are excited to support them with a cash donation.
