Step 1: Enroll in and complete a licensing course. The hardest part of this step is determining which course is right for you. Feel free to check out our blog on this topic or contact the PMT team who will be more than happy to assist.
Step 2: Complete the National Maritime Center license application. One of the most challenging parts of earning a license is completing the application. PMT has created application templates to simplify this step. These templates are posted on our website and are free for anyone to use. For PMT students, your tuition covers a free application review to triple check you’ve done everything correct the first time around.
Step 3: Submit your application to the National Maritime Center. You can do this by emailing any Coast Guard Regional Exam Center, but we recommend sending it to the one geographically closest to you.
