Previously our exams were shipped to the student and then they would take it over a Zoom call with us. A one week notice was required because of shipping. Now, students can request an exam and take it the next day, completely online!
Step 1: Fill out the Form
Fill out the exam scheduling form and list your preferred date.
Step 3: Prepare for Your Exam
- Find a clean workspace in a quiet room before your exam time. Remove any additional devices besides the computer that you will be using to join the Zoom call.
- Be prepared to scan the room 360* and show your I.D.
- Review your course material or study guides.
- Read through the Exam Scheduling Guide.
- Download the ProctorFree app and take the practice exam.
Step 4: Take the Exam
Take the exam with the ProctorFree application at the pre-approved day. You will receive your grade at the end of the exam, then close the app.
Step 5: Receive Your Certificate
Receive your certificate via email after Pathfinder reviews the recording and grade.
Am I able to take my online proctored exam at home, or am I required to take it at a approved facility?
You can take your online exam from your own home! Only things that are required are a strong wifi connection, a quiet room, and a computer.
