OUPV Upgrade to Master (100 Tons) – PATHFR-530

Earning a “Captain’s” license is both challenging and rewarding. Being an educator and mariner, I understand the effort it takes to successfully complete this course. However, success as a boating captain goes beyond completing a course. Once you become a Master, you are expected to stay up to date on maritime best practices and laws, ensuring you operate safely, responsibly, and respectfully.

This course builds on your “on the water” time, schooling, and your OUPV license. Many of the modules are related to management issues, drills, and vessel stability. These are items we would see on an inspected vessel.

Exam Scheduling

While it may seem early, begin thinking about scheduling your exam ahead of time. We will need a minimum of two weeks to locate and schedule an approved proctor site. Once you have potential dates, please fill out the exam scheduling form.
